Hello and greatings from ATX (Austin TX) everyone. I am just starting in LB and I am finding it a little hard to even know where to start looking for clues...is this part of the introduction?lol..you have to hunt the web to find where to find clues??lol. I really think this is gonna be a great way to get my family more active and would love any help or instructions on how to get started. i read a different post about getting newbies involved and as a newbie I think a local meeting for newbies would be welcomed as this can be overwhelming. Any help and suggestions are welcomed.
Thank You in advance LBers,
Leomomma and Mag

Clues are listed mainly on two websites
www.atlasquest.com
www.letterboxing.org
You can expect some overlap as many people list their boxes on both sites.

You might be interested in joining the Newboxers yahoo group too:

There's lots of helpful information on the newboxers list, as well as on the 2 major sites, Atlas Quest and Letterboxing North America.
Here's a list of letterboxes listed on Atlas Quest for the Austin, Texas area (56 letterboxes):
http://www.atlasquest.com/results.html?gTypeId=2;gSort=5;gSubFlags=56;gCoord=30.266496,-97.74087;gRad=5;gLocation=austin%2C+texas;gTitle=Austin%2C+TX%2C+US
Remember to put the box back where you found it and cover it up well so that it won't be visible to non-boxers.
Enjoy. :)

Be sure to read the tutorials on both atlasquest.com and letterboxing.org They will answer a lot of your questions. There are also articles on making stamps, logbooks, etc. letterboxing.info also has good information.
Have fun in all your searches.
